TLBC Missions

Your Church NEEDS YOU!

We need volunteers to operate all the audio and visual equipment

we use each Sunday that assists our ability to have services

and also permits us to support outside groups that use our facility.

We offer free training, mentorship, and guidance.

If you have questions or think you may be interested,

reach out to Ted Marriner at CrazyTed1@verizon.net

To schedule a demonstration of the equipment

and see how easy it actually is to operate.

The Audio Visual Ministry of the church is made up of two teams.

The Production Room Ministry Team operates the video equipment and sound gear used to create our livestreams and recordings of our services and events.  We use a computer system with a software based production program and a separate network to handle the internet traffic.

The Soundboard and Media Ministry Team handles the sound and the screen displays in the Sanctuary during services and special events.

We are currently using a Behringer Wing soundboard for sound control and

an Apple Mac computer with three projectors to handle the on-screen displays

during our services and events.

Food Pantry

Thalia Lynn Baptist Church, under the direction of the Benevolence Ministry Team, serves as a distribution point for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.  Volunteers each week receive donations from individuals as well as shipments from the Foodbank to stock the shelves of the Food Pantry.

They then prepare bags of food to distribute to clients each Tuesday from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.  Clients are required to show proof of residency. Entry is via Door #1, on the East side of the church. We have ample parking.
