Ministry in our Community

Thalia Lynn is collecting school supplies to fill 160 backpacks in four Title 1 schools in Aragona for the 2021-22 school year.  The supply list and more information are available in the Library/Information Center at the church.  The deadline for the collection is August 15th.  (Sponsored by the Women on Mission)
Thalia Lynn Baptist Church, under the direction of the Benevolence Ministry Team, serves as a distribution point for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.  Volunteers each week receive donations from individuals as well as shipments from the Foodbank to stock the shelves of the Food Pantry.  They then prepare bags of food to distribute to clients each Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until noon.  Clients are required to show proof of residency. Entry is via Door #1, on the East side of the church. We have ample parking.
