Thalia Lynn collected school supplies to fill 160 backpacks in four Title 1 schools in Aragona for the 2021-22 school year.  (Sponsored by the Women on Mission)

The Church annually provides a week-long winter shelter along with other BNoT churches to provide a warm and safe place for homeless adults. Volunteers needed for preparing, serving, clean-up of meals and security of the building. Please contact Rick Barron ( OR register at the link below:
Thalia Lynn Baptist Church, under the direction of the Benevolence Ministry Team, serves as a distribution point for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.  Volunteers each week receive donations from individuals as well as shipments from the Foodbank to stock the shelves of the Food Pantry.  They then prepare bags of food to distribute to clients each Tuesday from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.  Clients are required to show proof of residency. Entry is via Door #1, on the East side of the church. We have ample parking.

 The goal of the greeter ministry is to Greet Guests, make them feel welcome, assist them in finding the sanctuary, escort them to childcare or discipleship classes, and provide information about church activities. In addition, we provide eyes at the open doors for safety and security and help those who need assistance in getting in and out of cars and up the handicap ramp.
