Discipline Guidelines and Expectations

In the ever-changing world that we live in today, it becomes harder and harder to hold to an "understood" set of guidelines and expectations regarding the way we act and treat one another. With so many people falling into a "do what's right for you" mentality, it is important to spell out our own expectations and guidelines regarding what we do in our student ministry. What we do NOT want is simply a list of rules comprised of "do's" and "don'ts." We feel that being a ministry that achieves to disciple students and try to point them to a relationship with Jesus Christ leaves us needing to uphold Biblical principles in the way we act. However, principles written sometimes more than 2,000 years ago can be confusing when it comes time for modern-day application. The document here is something we believe helps to interpret these Biblical principles in a way that makes sense and fit our current times and trends.

Please take time to download the document and read through these things. We believe you'll see that what we ask of the students and parents is nothing that isn't already taught in God's Word. Thank you for your cooperation.
