Especially for Senior Adults

Our seniors are actively involved in their Sunday School classes, worship, missions organizations, and in church leadership positions. In addition, we have a special fellowship group for senior adults called the Joy Seekers.
Joy Seekers is an active adult fellowship group designed for folks age 50 and above. With regular planning meetings, monthly dinners (usually on the fourth Friday) and special trips to a variety of destinations, this group of men and women are always “on the go.” Newcomers are both warmly welcomed and encouraged to be a regular participant in this special group of seniors. Reservations for meals, by the way, are a must, so be sure to call the church office (757-499-0557) if you are planning to come to the dinner.
JOY Singers is a choir made up of adults whose schedules permit them to attend a weekly rehearsal on Thursday mornings at 10:00 (except the 2nd Tuesday of each month.) We "practice our praise" then share the joy we have found in Christ by singing and presenting devotional programs at several retirement facilities in our community. Join us!
