Pre-school, Children, & Preteens
Here at Thalia Lynn, we recognize that every child is a gift from God, and it is our prayer that our children will learn to recognize their full potential through Jesus Christ. We want children and their families to feel a warm sense of belonging to this church family where they are welcome, loved and accepted. All of the adults who work with our 1st – 4th graders are passionate about teaching Biblical truths to help each child grow in his/her understanding of who God is and how to begin a lifelong relationship with Him. Using age appropriate teaching methods, we build the foundation for each boy and girl to come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior as the Holy Spirit leads.
Sunday School ~ Classes for children in grades 1-6 are provided each Sunday morning at 9:45 am. Children will then attend either the 8:30 or 11:00 worship service with their families. Sunday School is a fun place to develop close friendships and to learn how to apply God’s Word to our everyday lives.
Children’s Choirs ~ Every Wednesday evening during the school year, our children meet together at 6:00 pm to join their voices in singing praises to the Lord. Throughout the year our children’s choirs participate in leading our church congregation in worship. (Sept.-May)
Missions ~ Wednesday nights include R.A.’s (Royal Ambassadors) for boys, and G.A.’s (Girls in Action) for girls from 6:45-7:30 pm, following choir. Through fun and creative activities children learn about the work of missionaries around the world, and they discover how God wants them to share the love of Jesus with the people in their daily lives.
