Regular Activities

Our Student Ministry at TLBC is a place where we hope you can find Fellowship, Friends, and a real encounter with the Savior. Everything we do is designed to shine a light back on your relationship with Jesus Christ. From the silly games we play to the more in-depth Bible Studies, we want students to realize that day-to-day living in Christ is what it takes to get closer to Him and to make a difference in the world. To stay current on all we are doing, sign up to receive our weekly email newsletter.

Here is our list of regular weekly activities:

Sundays:

8:30 AM          Traditional Worship – Worship Center

All of our students are encouraged to participate in one of two worship services. The Earlier service is rooted in the hymns and traditions that have been very meaningful to Christians for many years. The focus is always worshipping God together as the Body of Christ, and this service welcomes anyone seeking to do that.

9:45 AM          Graded Sunday School Classes – Youth Hall

Students engage in a school-grade based Bible Study class that encourages discussion and participation in order to help them find common ground with each other. This year’s theme is “LINKED: Connections between God, Each Other, and Us,” and looks at the ways young Christians interact with God the Father, as well as pointing others towards a relationship with Him.

11:00 AM      Traditional Worship – Worship Center

All of our students are encouraged to participate in one of two worship services. The later service is an opportunity to participate in a setting where music is led by a worship team, casual dress is always okay, and where your heart can be free to praise God in corporate worship with other members of the Body of Christ.

Wednesday:

6:15 - 7:30 PM   "RENOVATE" BIBLE STUDY

On Wednesday nights, join us for a time of Worship, Fellowship, and Bible Study as we open God's Word and see how the Truth we find there is still relevant and important for us today! We challenge our students to make sure we are changing our lives to fit with what God has for us. Come as early as 5:30 to fellowship and hang out with us beforehand. (Some students bring their dinner to the youth hall, and that's perfectly cool with us!)

Thursdays:

6:00 - 7:15 PM          High School Boys / Girls Bible Study

Our Bible Study for the Boys and Girls in High School Has started back for the second semester. The boys are meeting at the home of Cody Froelich, and the girls meet at Carrie Gurnee's House. They meet on the same dates for the remainder of the 2012 School Year:
January 5, 19, February 2, 16, March 1, 15, 29, April 19, May 3, 17, 31

Monthly Activities
Every month we hope to have an outside event that focuses on fellowship and bringing the students together. Sometimes it may be a retreat, concert, or activity at the church, and other times it may be something as simple as bowling or playing video games together. Watch the Special Events page for details!
